Community Engagement

From attending neighborhood meetings and block parties, to providing safety presentations or serving on a host of proactive committees, Police Department personnel take part in a number of community engagement initiatives and are committed to the continued strengthening of community-police relations.

At every chance, we welcome working with our community to address safety and immediate and long-term causes of crime through collective problem solving and partnership.  Only together are we able to fully help nurture safe, healthy neighborhoods.  Be sure to explore the ways in which you can become involved and help make our Champaign community safer.
