Police Department Tours

Community and youth organizations are welcome to contact us to schedule a tour of the Champaign Police Department.  Groups will learn about the responsibilities of staff while touring the building’s operational areas, including the patrol commons, SWAT bay, and office of the Chief of Police.

Police Department Tours are provided by appointment, last approximately 45-60 minutes, and can accommodate up to 20 people. Groups of less than ten individuals may be combined when necessary.

To ensure adequate personnel is available, tours must be scheduled at least 14 business days in advance. We ask that sufficient adult chaperones be present to supervise youth groups.
