Neighborhood Services Advisory Board (NSAB)
The Neighborhood Services Advisory Board (NSAB) provides input and feedback on the City’s Neighborhood Wellness and Community Development programs. The Board reviews the development of the Consolidated Plan to include the Community Development Block Grant Allocation and the Home Partnership Fund Allocation. The Board also reviews other programs and/or applications for local, state, or federal funding related to the improvement of housing opportunities for low and moderate income persons and community development activities of the Neighborhood Services Department.
The Board consists of seven members. Two members are chosen to represent each of the preservation areas as defined in the City’s Neighborhood Wellness Plan and are residents of those areas. The other members are chosen as at-large representatives. Members are appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council. Each member is appointed to a four-year term.
