UNIVERSITY DISTRICT PERMIT PARKING

Summer 2022 and Academic Year 2022/2023 Permits are now available for purchase

You may now purchase your University District Summer 2022 and Academic Year 2022/2023 permit.   To do so, purchase your permit online at Online Parking Services or in person at Public Works, 702 Edgebrook Drive, between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Please be sure to provide the following by either attaching the documents/information to your online purchase or sending the information via email to [email protected]:

  • A current copy of your driver’s license
  • Copy of your full vehicle registration that includes the owner’s information
  • Your Campus address, including apartment number

In order to purchase an Academic Year Permit on-street in Areas 1 or 2 before Labor Day each year, you must show proof of residency in the University District Area with a lease for the school year.  Please refer to this document for details on the residency requirements for University District Areas 1 and 2.

After Labor Day, permits in Areas 1 and 2 do not require proof of residency.

There is no residency requirement in Areas 3 or 4.

Academic Year

You may purchase an Academic Year Permit online and pick up your permit at the Parking Programs Office at 702 Edgebrook Drive.  You will receive an email when your permit is ready to be picked up.

Online Permit Sales

1.  Go to the Online Parking Services Page.
2.  Select Purchase Academic Permit and follow prompts.
3.  Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express are accepted.

Go to the University District Permit Location Map on the Parking Maps page to view the permit parking locations, both on-street and in parking lots.

Permit rates vary according to location. See the Parking Maps page for more information.

Notes:  Permit rates are subject to change.  Permits are sold for the entire academic year and payment in full is required at the time of purchase.  Fall or spring semester-only permits are not offered; however, permits may be returned for a refund of the unused portion minus a 10 percent administrative fee.  Permits cannot be returned within 30 days of expiration. There is a $10 charge for any type of permit replacement (lost, destroyed, stolen, etc.).


Summer Parking Permits

Summer Permits expire the first Sunday in August.

  • Summer permits will be available in May of each year.
  • Summer permits have NO residency requirement.
  • All on-street and parking lot spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • There is a $10 charge for any type of permit replacement (lost, destroyed, stolen, etc.).

Summer parking permits will go on sale on in May.  You may purchase your summer permit by going online or you may come into the Public Works Department by 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on City Holidays.

Online Permit Sales

1. Go to the Online Parking Services Page.
2. Select Purchase Summer Permit and follow prompts.
3. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express are accepted.
4. Permits purchased online are available for pick up in the Parking Programs Office at 702 Edgebrook Drive.  You will receive an email when your permit is ready (typically after noon on the next business day).

Summer permits are $105 for any location.
