Residential Exterior Rehabilitation Program

The Residential Exterior Rehabilitation program provides a 50/50 matching grant or loan (0% interest), depending on income, to repair and beautify exterior areas of Champaign homes. Eligible activities include windows, siding, roofs, as well as driveways, walkways and fences.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Homeowners with incomes up to 120% of the median family income.
• Home must be located in Champaign Target Neighborhood. Until further notice, eligible target neighborhoods include Douglass Park, Beardsley Park, Garwood, Garden Park, and Garden Hills. For a complete list of eligible activities and neighborhoods, please contact the City.
