Bid Openings

Bid openings are held to comply with statutory and administrative policies. They usually take place in the City Council Chambers at the date and time listed in the bid packet.
Bids are opened in the order they are received. During the opening, the Clerk reads out the bidder’s name, confirms any changes (addenda), the total bid amount, whether a bond was included, and if the required Affirmative Action and City of Champaign Diversity Advancement Program (CDAP) forms were submitted.
