Make a Self-Reported Tax Payment
The City of Champaign receives self-reported tax payments for hotel/motel, food and beverage, and local motor fuel tax. Filings and payments can be made online, by mail, or in-person at the Finance Department. If paying online, the City’s Citizen Self Service portal can immediately calculate the amount owed and accepts payment via eCheck (no additional fee) or credit card (additional 3% convenience fee).
Please note: Food & Beverage Tax does not apply to package liquor sales.

If you are interested in filing and paying self-reported taxes online through our Citizen Self Service payment portal, first contact the Finance Department at 217-403-8940 to obtain your business account information.
