Community Outreach and Engagement Division

The Community Outreach and Engagement Division of the Equity and Engagement Department leads City efforts in community support and neighborhood mobilization. The City is the leading partner of the Champaign County Community Coalition, a network with representation from local businesses, behavioral health organizations, government, education, faith based organizations, law enforcement, grassroots organizations, not-for-profit organizations, park districts, residents, and youth and their families working to address issues of community concern. Priorities of this division include strengthening police-community relations, community engagement, youth development, community violence, and mutual advocacy.
