The City of Champaign is saddened by, and condemns the acts of intolerance, hate, and violence occurring across the country against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. These types of intolerable actions against anyone are unacceptable, including members of Champaign-Urbana’s valued Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. University Avenue Lane Closure (between Elm Street and Prairie Street)
In order to repair water service at 403 W. University Avenue, DUCE Construction will close one eastbound lane of University Avenue between Elm Street and Prairie Street. The closure will begin on Thursday, March 18, and will reopen on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the area.

Fourth Street Lane Closure (between Green Street and John Street) – Revised Date
In order to install a hoist for roof repair at 707 S. Fourth Street, Advanced Commercial Roofing will close the southbound lane of Fourth Street between Green Street and John Street. The closure will occur on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., weather permitting.
