Community Canvassing

On Friday, September 20, staff from the Equity & Engagement Department as well as the Neighborhood Services Department conducted a neighborhood canvass. Staff members handed out flyers and spoke with citizens who were impacted by gun violence in the neighborhood surrounding the 300 Block of East Bradley Avenue earlier in the week.


Habitat for Humanity House Dedication

Neighborhood Services Department staff helped dedicate another Habitat for Humanity house on West Maple Street. The City is a member of the HOME Consortium, which regularly supports Habitat for Humanity and the construction of affordable housing. Neighborhood Services staff recently performed site visits for CommUnity Matters summer programs.
