On August 22, 2025, the Beardsley Park Neighborhood Association hosted a block party in celebration of Patricia Avery Day. The event was in conjunction with the honorary street naming ceremony in Mrs. Avery’s honor earlier that day. Beardsley Park Neighbors utilized neighborhood small grant funds to cover costs of the block party. In recognition of Mrs. Avery’s dedication to public service and community safety, the neighbors invited Police, Fire, and several social and safety resource vendors to attend.
