On April 18, Clinical Manager Dr. Regina Parnell and Behavioral Health Advocates Jamie Essien and Destiny Gidron of the Mental Health Emergency Response Division within the Equity & Engagement (E&E) Department attended the R.A.C.E.S. “Take Back the Narrative” event.
Held at the Independent Media Center to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the evening featured a multicultural variety show and a survivor art exhibition hosted by Director Jaya Kolisetty. E&E hosted an outreach booth, engaging with community members and providing essential information on available support services.
