Parkland ECCA Students Tour Champaign Police Department

On Friday morning, April 17, Champaign Police hosted students from the Parkland College Early College and Career Academy (ECCA) stop by for a tour of the Police Department. The tour gave students an opportunity to learn about the agency and the tools used to serve the Champaign Community. It included stops in Police Services, Records, Patrol, Investigations, and ended with a stop in the CPD Historical Room.

The class is part of the ECCA Program at Parkland College, a dual credit career pathway program for high school juniors and seniors. Students from fifteen area high schools participate in one of nine different ECCA career pathway options, including law enforcement.
