In order to perform storm sewer lining, Hoerr Construction will be closing the right lane of westbound University between First Street and Chester Street. During this time, University Avenue westbound will be reduced to a single lane thru a short construction work zone. Chester Street will also be reduced lane widths thru a work zone at the intersection of Chester Street and Water Street. Minor traffic delays may occur in work zones.
Work is scheduled to begin around 7 a.m. on Monday, July 24, and is planned to be completed and reopened to traffic by 6 p.m. on the same day. Work operations and lane impacts are daytime only, affecting travel between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. The work is weather dependent and may be delayed in the event of inclement weather.
