In order to perform storm sewer lining, Hoerr Construction will be closing the right lane of northbound Walnut Street from Bailey Street to Taylor Street. Also, during this time, westbound University Avenue will be reduced to a single lane at the intersection with Walnut Street. All traffic routes will remain open, however, with reduced lanes thru short construction zones.
Work is scheduled to begin around 7 a.m. on Monday, July 24, and is planned to be completed and reopened to traffic by 6 p.m. on the same day. Work operations and lane impacts are daytime only, affecting travel between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. The work is weather dependent and may be delayed in the event of inclement weather.
