On March 27, 2023, the Communications Division worked with the Fire Department to record the annual Hoffman Awards and Pinning Ceremony. The event honored residents and members of ambulance services, Champaign Firefighters, and Champaign Police Officers that have displayed exemplary service to those they serve and protect. Firefighters and Building Safety personnel recently hired or promoted were also presented with their badges by family and friends at this event.
