On August 2, the Neighborhood Services Department in, partnership with the Office of Equity, Community and Human Rights, kicked of its Lovin U’ tour with the first of a series of neighborhood-based block parties in the Garden Hills Neighborhood. The Lovin’ U campaign is designed to proactively engage neighborhoods throughout the city with resources and information to promote individual and neighborhood health and wellness. The kickoff event in Garden Hills was well attended by elected officials and staff from several City departments engaging with neighbors and community members throughout the evening. The next stops on the Lovin’ U tour are August 11 on Hedge Road (Garden Hills) and August 12 at Countrybrook Apartments.
