City Holds Virtual Neighborhood Leaders Meeting

On August 4 the Neighborhood Services Department hosted its monthly neighborhood leaders virtual meeting. The meeting introduced neighbors in new leadership roles this year to the City’s Neighborhood Coordination Division. Leaders were reminded of the benefits of choosing to register their neighborhood group with the City, and staff shared information on the upcoming Lovin’ U Tour engagement opportunities. Leaders were also provided with an update on the American Recovery Plan public input process, as well as the Police Chief and Public Works Director recruitments. Neighborhood Services will continue to host the monthly virtual meetings as a way to ensure neighbors remain abreast of City and partner agency work, programs and services.
