As part of the Boneyard Creek North Branch Improvements, Feutz Contractors will be replacing the Boneyard Creek culvert under Hickory Street south of Howard Drive. Hickory Street will be closed south of Howard Drive for this work. Access to residences on Leichner Drive and Howard Drive will be maintained via a temporary detour north of Dick Van Dyke Appliance World.
Work is planned to begin on Monday, July 15, 2019, at 7 a.m. The full road closure is scheduled to be complete by Friday July 19, at 5 p.m. After that time, one lane will be open to traffic through the construction zone. The temporary detour will remain open as an alternate access until all Hickory Street reconstruction is complete in August.
This work was previously scheduled for June but has been on hold for utility relocations.
