Hoerr Construction, Inc. has begun the 2019 Sewer Lining Project, which will occur at locations throughout the City of Champaign. Sewer lining rehabilitates existing sewers to a like-new condition. Hoerr Construction, Inc. will be placing informational door hangers in areas that will be affected prior to lining; please take appropriate actions to minimize any potential sewer backups.
All lining work is weather dependent. Brief lane closures will occur with this work. Operations for the sewer lining are daytime only and will not impact evening travel occurring after 6:00 p.m.
Please pay close attention to traffic control devices and use alternate routes whenever possible. The City of Champaign thanks you for your cooperation and patience while this work is being performed.
