The State of Illinois awarded a contract to Stark Excavating to widen the approaches to the bridge on Windsor Road over I-57. Construction began on April 1. The road will be open to traffic on August 15, 2014. Construction will be completed by October 15, 2014. Stark is installing storm sewers on the east of the I-57 bridge on Windsor Road. They have begun construction of the pavement on the west side of the I-57 bridge and will place asphalt on this pavement later this week.
