As part of Phase III West Washington Street Drainage Improvements, Park Avenue from Russell Street to James Street will experience daytime single-lane closures for roadway work. A minimum of one lane of thru traffic will be open at all times. Work begins on Friday, March 13, and will be completed on Friday, March 20, 2020.

Park Avenue Road Closure (From James Street to 1216 Park Avenue)
As part of Phase III West Washington Street Drainage Improvements, Stark Excavating will close Park Avenue from James Street to 1216 Park Avenue to install underground utilities (storm sewer and water main). The road closure will begin on Friday, September 20, 2019, and continue through the end of November.
Randolph Street Lane Closure (Between University Avenue and Park Avenue)
In order to facilitate masonry and roofing work at the Virginia Theater, Henson Robinson will close one northbound lane of Randolph Street between University Avenue and Park Avenue. The closure will occur on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the area.
