The Mass Transit District (MTD) recently built a new bus stop at the intersection of State Street and Park Avenue. Due to slope issues, the pad was poured slightly off the original location. As a result, buses were not able to pull in correctly if there was a car in the first parking spot north of the bus stop.
The Public Works Department removed the parking meter that conflicted with the bus stop and posted the area as “No Parking” to accommodate MTD’s request.
