In order to repair a leaking water valve, Illinois American Water and Shaw Brothers have closed the eastbound lane of Daniel Street between Fifth Street and Sixth Street. The closure began on Tuesday, February 6, and will reopen on Thursday, February 8, 2024, weather permitting. Westbound traffic will continue through the area uninterrupted.
