Park Avenue and New Street Intersection Closure
As part of the City’s 2024 Infrastructure Maintenance Project, A&A Concrete will be closing the intersection of Park Avenue and New Street between Church Street and University Avenue. The work will begin on Monday, July 1, 2024, and the closure is expected to last four to six weeks, weather permitting.
Anthony Drive Road Closure (between Dobbins Drive and Campbell Drive)
White Construction will close Anthony Drive between Dobbins Drive and Campbell Drive. Eastbound and westbound Anthony Drive traffic will be detoured in the area. The closure will begin on Tuesday, June 26, and will be reopened on Friday, June 28, 2024, weather permitting. Access will be maintained to all local properties.
Annual Paving Project – Country Fair Drive and Kenwood Road
Starting Tuesday, June 25, 2024, Cross Construction will begin rehabilitation work on Country Fair Drive, from 200 feet south of Springfield Avenue to University Avenue, and on Kenwood Road from Springfield Avenue to a point 200 feet south. In order to complete a tree removal, JT’s Tree Service will close one northbound lane of Mattis Avenue between Sangamon Drive and Alton Drive. The closure will occur on Thursday, June 20, 2024, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. During the closure, northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane.
