Champaign Fire, Police, Equity and Engagement, METCAD, and Carle Arrow Ambulance kicked off Fire Prevention Week activities on Sunday, October 5 at Fire Station 1. Mayor Feinen presented the Fire Prevention Week Proclamation to begin the Open House and Resource Fair. Council Member Clayborn also attended the kickoff event. Throughout the week, there have been opportunities to visit neighborhood fire stations and meet the neighborhood firefighters.
