In order to perform storm sewer repairs, SNC Construction will be closing the right two eastbound lanes on Springfield Avenue between Westlawn Avenue and Garfield Avenue. The eastbound Springfield Avenue traffic will be merged into the center turn lane through a short construction work zone. Westbound traffic on Springfield Avenue will remain unaffected and all intersections with Springfield Avenue will remain open.
Work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. on Monday, October 13, and is planned to be completed and reopened to traffic by 4 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, weather permitting.
