On Monday, April 20, NSD and Planning and Development staff attended the United Garden Hills Neighborhood Association’s monthly meeting. Staff from Public Works provided an update on the drainage improvement efforts in the Garden Hills neighborhood, and Planning and Development staff invited neighbors to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremonies scheduled for July.
The Ashland Park HOA held its annual meeting on Tuesday, April 21. Staff from the Neighborhood Services Department Programs Division provided information on the upcoming housing stock survey, while staff from Planning and Development discussed neighborhood land-use concerns regarding the vacant field just north of the subdivision.
On Thursday, April 23, the Neighborhood Services Department hosted a neighborhood informational meeting for the Carver Park Neighborhood. Staff from NSD Programs Division discussed the upcoming housing stock survey, and staff from Planning and Development provided an update on the Northeast Side Neighborhood Plan. Representatives from Carle and Hope Village discussed the small home community that is nearing completion in Urbana, directly adjacent to the Carver Park Neighborhood.
