The Timberline Valley South HOA hosted a neighborhood clean-up event on May 31, 2025. 34 neighbors participated, dropping off mattresses, box springs, and other bulk items for disposal. The event was well planned and organized. Group leaders rented a dumpster and neighbors were asked to sign up prior to the event start.
The HOA partnered with a nearby neighborhood group whose members recycled metal as a small fundraiser. The HOA also collected gently used items for donation to Salt & Light and the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Additionally, items were collected for donation to the University YMCA Big Sale which sells gently used items collected from the U of I’s annual Dump and Run event.
Registered neighborhood groups can apply for up to $2000 in small grant funds to cover costs related to neighborhood clean-up events.
