The neighbors of the Devonshire HOA recently completed maintenance to their neighborhood’s gateway sign. Small improvements such repairs to the light fixtures and painting of the metal sign and emblem go a long way to refresh the neighborhood’s entrance. The cost for the work was covered by the City’s small grant program. Registered HOA groups use small grant funds for everything from minor projects such as entrance sign maintenance to larger projects such as shoreline repairs to neighborhood lakes. Organized neighborhood groups who choose to register with the City can apply for up to $2,500 in small grant funds for eligible small grant activities ($2,000 per neighborhood cleanup event), with a maximum of $5,000 per fiscal year.
