In order to accommodate a crane delivery, the University of Illinois will close Sixth Street between Daniel Street and Chalmers Street. The closure will occur on Monday, November 20, 2023, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., weather permitting. Through traffic will not be allowed in the area, but access will be maintained to all local properties.
