The Champaign Fire Department responded to a fire inside a home at 2802 Rolling Acres Drive, Sunday, October 29 at 6:38 p.m. Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire inside this home.
Firefighters responded to the report of a chimney fire in this bi-level, single family home. Once on the scene, firefighters found light smoke showing and went inside to investigate. Crews found a small fire near the chimney. Firefighters extinguished the fire with a single hose line.
The cause of this fire was accidental. There were no firefighter or occupant injuries reported.
