In order to complete a pavement patch in the Neil Street and Hessel Boulevard intersection, Illinois American Water and Shaw Brothers will be closing the following:
• One southbound lane of Neil Street between Avondale Avenue and Hessel Boulevard. Southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the area.
• Hessel Boulevard will be closed between Neil Street and Randolph Street. Access to local properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be allowed in this block.
These closures will begin on Tuesday, September 19, and all lanes will reopen on Friday, September 22, 2023.
