On May 11, 2023 Keller Williams Realty Teams’ across the world participated in ‘Red Day’ which is a day of service in which they give back to the community. This year they participated by assisting 6 senior families in home repairs across the CU area. The Equity and Engagement Department was proud to help sponsor this wonderful day of service. April Faulkner, Community Relations Specialist, was able to go on sight to one of the Champaign locations and speak to the Keller Williams team about what this day meant to them. April was also able to hear from the homeowner, Lee, about how this project would impact him. Lee is a 25 year Champaign resident and this home was his parent’s before him. Changes are being made to the home to improve mobility and access as Lee’s mobility fluctuates. Lee said that he is a blessed man and this is one of his many blessings.
