A huge thank you to everyone who met at Public Works to build the City’s float for the 2022 Pride Parade! On Saturday, October 1, the City will participate in the Parade and at an informational table during the Pride Fest Fair. If you are interested in walking in the Parade, please arrive at 10:15 a.m. The Parade begins in Campustown and ends at the Fair in downtown Urbana.
If you would like to join staff at the Pride Fest Fair, you can join them from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. If you are interested in participating, please get pre-approval from your Department Head then contact Community Relations Specialist April Faulkner ([email protected]) to discuss what volunteer position you are interested in!
