On Friday, September 16th, the Ambassadors assisted the Shadow Wood Neighborhood group in hosting a block party to celebrate Mexican Independence and to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month. The group used the Human Kinetics Parking lot to hold the event.

On Thursday, September 22nd, the Ambassadors helped the Mittendorf Neighborhood Group with their first neighborhood cleanup event. The group rented 2 dumpsters to collect unwanted bulk items from neighborhood residents. That same evening, the Ambassadors attended the Fall Equinox Party at Hedge Pop! Park. The event was hosted in collaboration with the United Garden Hills Neighborhood Association and the City’s Planning and Development Department.

The registered neighborhood groups utilized the City’s Small Grant Program to secure funds to cover the costs of their block party and clean up event.
