On March 29, 2022, the City hosted a community open house so the public could have the opportunity to speak with the Police Chief finalists. The three finalists for the position are Angela Coonce, Bryce Johnson, and Timothy T. Tyler. Approximately 50-60 people attended the open house which was held from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the Illinois Terminal’s CityView Room. The community open house was held as part of a three-day interview process involving all three candidates.
