The Champaign Fire Department responded to a fire at 1205 Broadmoor Dr., Thursday, March 24, at 7:49 p.m. Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire in this single-family home.
Firefighters responded to a report from a neighbor of a fire in this two-story residence. Once on the scene, fire crews reported a fire contained to the rear of the home. Firefighters deployed multiple hose lines and quickly extinguished the fire.
The cause of this fire is undetermined as investigators remain on the scene conducting their investigation. There were no firefighter injuries reported. The occupants of the building will be displaced because of the damage.
