The Champaign Fire Department responded to a fire in the attached garage of a home at 511 S. Duncan Rd., Wednesday, December 1, at 3:12 a.m. Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire in this single-family home.
Firefighters responded to a report of a fire at this one-story residence called in by the occupants. Once on the scene, fire crews reported a fire in the garage of the home. Firefighters deployed multiple hose lines and extinguished the fire.
The cause of this fire is undetermined as investigators remain on the scene conducting their investigation. There were no firefighter or occupant injuries reported. The occupants will be displaced as a result of the damage.
