On October 23, the Neighborhood Services Department (NSD) hosted a Fall Festival Block Party at the corner of Kenwood and Springfield. Families from Champaign Park Apartments, Stonegate Village Apartments, and Country Brook Apartments enjoyed games, food, and fun. Area businesses partnered with NSD to help make the event possible. Ramshaw Realty and Royce and Brinkmeyer provided candy, apple cider, and bottled water, while businesses in the Stoneybrook Plaza shopping center gave up parking spaces during the event. NSD will continue to work with area business owners in the area to collaboratively foster positive engagement amongst area neighbors.
