The Champaign Fire Department responded to a fire inside a home at 1410 Harrington Drive, Friday, December 25, 2020, at 9:03 p.m. Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire in this single-family home.
Firefighters responded to a report of the roof of this two-story home on fire, called in by the occupants. Once on the scene, fire crews reported fire venting from the roof. Firefighters deployed multiple hose lines and extinguished the fire found in the attic and second floor of the home.
The cause of this fire is undetermined as investigators remain on the scene conducting their investigation. There were no firefighter or occupant injuries reported. The occupants will be displaced as a result of the damage.
