The City of Champaign staffed a booth at the annual Champaign-Urbana Days celebration held on Saturday August 10. The Neighborhood Services Department Coordination division organized the City’s engagement effort for the event with staff representatives from the Neighborhood Services Department, the Office of Equity, Community, and Human Rights, and the Champaign Police Department providing additional support throughout the event. As always, C-U days was well attended.
City Staff shared information on upcoming projects and City initiatives, signed up subscribers for email newsletters distributed by the City, and gave out school supplies to 100 children as they prepared to return to school.
