Staff from the Neighborhood Services Department attended a contractor training event on site at the Bristol Place Residences construction trailer on Wednesday, July 31. Contractors learned how to use Eprism software to find, track, and hire potential employees that have registered through the system. This system allows the developer to track local and/or low-income persons hired for the construction of Bristol Place.
The City, in partnership with the Illinois Worknet and First Followers, began registering job seekers in the Eprism system in March. There were six contractors in attendance at this training event.
