The closing ceremony for the Summer 2019 Unit 4 Youth Employment Services (YES) program was held on July 29 at Jefferson Middle School. During the ceremony, employers and speakers praised participating students for their dedication, effort, and work performance during the six-week program. Representatives from the City of Champaign in attendance included City Manager Dorothy David, Deputy City Managers Matt Roeschley and Joan Walls, Nina Sibley from the Neighborhood Services Department, Jeremy Schultz from the Public Works Department, and Stacy Rachel and Eric Reynolds (at right) of the Human Resources Department.
The City of Champaign sponsored six students this year and is a proud partner of the YES program.
