City Hosts Flag Day Celebration and Citizenship Fair
The Office of Equity, Community and Human Rights (ECHO) & the University YMCA New American Welcome Center co-hosted the National Flag Day & Citizenship Fair on June 14. Mayor Feinen provided a welcome speech to kick off the celebration. This event was free, family-friendly, and open to the public inside the atrium of the Champaign City Building. Champaign, Chicago, and Skokie are the only three cities in Illinois that are Cities for Citizenship!
