On Monday, May 13, the Multimodal Corridor Enhancement Project (MCORE) will close two blocks near the corner of Armory Avenue and Wright Street:
• Wright Street from Armory Avenue to Chalmers Street
• Armory Avenue from Sixth Street to Wright Street
The closure is for reconstruction of these two blocks. The streets will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the summer, re-opening by August 23, 2019.
Additionally, the intersection of Armory Avenue and Wright Street will be closed for reconstruction. This closure is expected to last through the mid-July, weather dependent.
During this closure, Chalmers Street between Wright Street and Sixth Street will operate as a two-way street to maintain access to adjacent properties. Pedestrian access will also be maintained along the north side of Armory Avenue and the west side of Wright Street.
