On March 14, staff from the Neighborhood Services Department attended a workshop hosted by ADVHS, the Bristol Place developer. Also in attendance were community and government partners including First Followers, Illinois Department of Employment Security, Housing Authority of Champaign County and Illinois WorkNet. The workshop introduced the ePRISM software platform and provided the opportunity for the eleven attendees to learn how to register interested Bristol Place job seekers and contractors in the system. The system will be helpful to hiring contractors, as it will create a central database of interested employees based on current skills and availability.
