Starting Tuesday, May 30, 2017, Cross Construction Company will begin work on the City’s annual asphalt paving project. The first phase of work will take place on First Street from St. Mary’s Road to Kirby Avenue. Work on First Street will consist of curb replacement, milling off the existing asphalt surface, paving two layers of new asphalt, and applying new pavement markings. The road will be closed to through traffic and will be completed by June 23, 2017.
First Street will be open to traffic for the Centennial High School graduation ceremony the evening of May 30, 2017.
