The Police and Human Resources departments are nearing the final stages of another successful 2017 Entry-Level Police Officer Testing Process.
On April 4, 2017, eighty-eight (88) candidates completed oral interviews at the Champaign Police Department. In order to accomplish such a structured, one-day interview timeline, HR enlisted the assistance of 12 assessors – 6 panels of 3 assessors. I would like to openly thank them all!
Community members: Joni Barnes, Preston James, Nicole McCurry, Jim Luecking, Becky Rowe, and Jan Thom.
City staff: Tina Ansong, Ralph Caldwell, Debarah McFarland, Vontay Marshall, Carrie Siems, and Brad Yohnka.
Police staff: Will Cowan, Gary Guadio, Tom Frost, Bill Killin, Dave Monahan, and Katherine Thompson.
The next stage of the process are Chief interviews scheduled on May 30 & 31, June 1 & 2, 2017.
