Neighborhood Services Department (NSD) staff attended the Community Association Institute – Illinois Chapter 2017 HOSA/Condo Conference. The conference provided an opportunity to learn about best practices related to HOA/Condo association management, Continuing Education credits for property management professionals, and resource information and training for volunteer board members. The conference also included a vendor fair with more than 200 vendors who specialize in servicing HOA’s and Condo’s. The vendors included insurance providers, banking professionals, detention pond maintenance vendors, and many others. NSD will be working with other local government organizations and the National Headquarters of Community Association Institute to organize a downstate chapter so that HOA and Condo Associations in our region can take advantage of the training, education and resource information provided by the institute training.
